Shh

I ask the night not to speak
It cursed whispers haunt my dreams
Disfigured shadows on the walls
Shifting into things that are said not to be real
Small unseen eyes watch me
Sending shivers up my spine
I know its a childish thing
But yet I am terrified to think
I try to hide it the fear on my face
What is lurking in the damned dark
Waiting for me to shut my eyes
Falling to sleep in the darkness
is not a intelligent thing to do
But shh remember
They can hear you.....
